Classic BoA. DMV feel. ATMs frequently down. Dim employees that don’t want to help. Closed down 6 drive through lanes and replaced them with ONE ATM! LOL! Lame fees, useless staff… bank somewhere else.
Deposited a US treasury ssi check, something I’ve done every month for years, and suddenly they decided there needed to be a 5 day hold on it. Contacted customer support and was given a canned answer but no real reason why it happened and was told it couldn’t be changed.
And now I will get that “please reach out to…” response everyone else here has gotten.
Horrible experience, Bank of America in general is the worst bank I’ve ever banked with. There is no reason to open an account and place your money in an institution that doesn’t respect and honor customers.
I been doing business with this bank for 3 years because they had a free checking account for students, my experience with this bank has been average, nothing to get excited about. The Abilene location looks old and outdated compared with other banks in town. ATM seems to have problems with deposits very often. If you’re looking for a good bank to do business, I will tell you not to put it as your first option unless you’re a student
I would give zero stars if I could. Terrible bank. COUNT YOUR MONEY BEFORE YOU LEAVE THE BANK. They have stolen from my elderly mother and will not make it right. A teller shorted her thousands of dollars on a withdrawal. ALSO they need to count the money in front of the customer so that they can see it being counted!! Horrible bank. Honestly unreal how bad it is. Very sad. DO NOT BANK HERE.
