Great credit union for all your banking needs without the big bank shuffle. Great friendly staff. Just recently they have gone out of there way to provide loans to me personally always attentive to your needs . I bank at other institutions and I never get the first class treatment at valley Federal credit Union . They really are people helping people .
Just wanted to post my review on the VFCU HGN.branch. Called the Brownsville branch to speak to the Brownsville Branch manager in charge of both of these 2 branches came to know her name is Analise or Analisa had to speak to someone first tell him what occurred or what the complaint was about before it got to this manager. She never spoke to me or wanted to know of the complaint. She has a title so she should handle complaints rather than have a bank employee tell you that she wasnt in at the [ time ] really well we know how she plays her ROLE AS BRANCH OFFICER FOR BOTH BRANCHES… She should be the one hearing from the bank member rather hearing from her secretary first.
My Husband, myself, & daughter came into the bank. I wrote down my husband name on a clipboard that was on the desk to let the officer know what we needed to be seen for. Sitting there waiting to be seen another customer comes in and Sonya the loan officer knowing cause I told her we were next never walked up to the desk to see who was next looked up at the other loan officer by the name of Arianna ignoring what I had just said that we were next. Waited on Arianna response which tis lady was helping other customers at the moment made a hand movement telling Sonya to take the other customer ignoring us the whole time disrespecting our time. This was so uncalled for how they ignored us and the Rudeness of this loan officer Sonya her whole demeanor played out loud. Arianna even had the customers she was helping got them involved those customers made it obvious cause they were laughing as well and looking at us. I wasn’t embarrassed just made it cleared to this loan officer Sonya how she ignored us and our time and us being next in line. Yes, I complained to the Hgn Branch officer Bonnie what played out and her response was this customer that went before you had appointment. My son had an appointment is also a credit union bank member to this branch he still had to wait for others that were sign up to be seen by these loan officers we surely know how tis played out today by these employees. Be more professional know ur titles and don’t be involving other members on whats occurring or what’s transpiring.. These ladies low class Levels played out UNPROFESSIONAL
Picky about who they want to help, Lule was rude, also they don’t work with many of the on line dealerships.
They run your credit (HARD Inquiry) to open a checking account. Manager said it’s a soft pull (NOPE IT’S NOT) it shows up in the TransUnion hard inquiry. She said it warns you as you apply online (nope it does not) She read the notification to me, NONE of it explains that they will run your credit especially for a CHECKINGS ACCOUNT. NO ONE RUNS CREDIT FOR A CHECKINGS ACCOUNT!!! Literally EVERYONE KNOWS THAT!!! U run credit only for a Loan, credit card, home loan, anything for CREDIT NOT CHECKINGS!!! Then the manager said if I had applied in person they would have verified my identity and not run my credit. One thing has NOTHING to do with another. You don’t have to run credit to “verify” identity. Credit is financial status NOT personal identity wth is wrong with them?!?! They ran out of excuses fast, there is ZERO justifying running credit for a checking account. You don’t run credit for a CHECKINGS account!!!! Then in person, Patty got smug and said, well, WE do sir. (Fake smile)
Well you don’t ma’am because u don’t even know WHY you’re running credit for a CHECKINGS account!!! No need to be smug and proud for something that hurts (negative impact on credit file) people instead of helping them. Horrible place. No one is even friendly. Then all had a look like they hate their lives. Bank of America. Super friendly and helpful!!!
this bank really looks out for local people. I can’t say enough on how Ms. Lupita Torres helped me. I truly appreciate everything and you all have a customer for life.
