BBVA was recently acquired by PNC. The whole transition has been less than professional. Unable to set up automatic payments before last day of transition. Unable to order checks until last day of transition. This creates a time of having a checking account but unable to write checks. Two days after now being a PNC customer, my credit card company (Capitol One) requested their monthly payment. PNC paid it as expected. The next day Capitol One requested the same dollar amount payment again. In excess of $6,500. While the payment was still showing as pending, I asked PNC to not make the second payment as it had already been paid. They said they could not stop a payment in progress. I guess I don’t know what payment pending means but I would have thought in this day and age a bank could stop the transfer of money. I bet if the roles were reversed, they could. They made the second payment and I am out that money until Capitol One processes my claim (3-5 business days and sends the check via US Mail. PNC said it would take up to 10 business days to look into my claim. I am leaving both PNC and Capitol One as I am just a number to them. They seem to forget that it is MY MONEY they are mismanaging.
Do not do business with these people.
I had the incredible misfortune of doing business with Swati Desoares. Extraordinarily unethical, and seems driven to con people out of their money. On top of that-she assaulted me, and is awaiting criminal prosecution for misdemeanor assault. BEWARE when doing business with her!!
I was very excited to open up my new business account at Frost Bank. It’s been open for a couple months and dealing with Frost employees is very tough. experience’s with them have been horrible! Employees have been rude, un helpful, or they just not seem to care about customer service. I have inquired about business loans and business credit and I just get the run around or just get transferred to different departments time and time again. Unfortunately I think I will be looking for another bank soon. Maybe it’s just the WW White location. 👎🏻
If I could zero stars for the worst bank I have ever dealt with. Worst customer service ever. They should have never took over a bank to make things worst during difficult times. Tried to contact for days then finally get John the manager confirmation this is the worst bank I have ever worked with. I will be moving on 5yrs with BBVA less than 5 months with PNC I AM DONE.
