    I stuck with them when Happy State bought out my original bank. Now Happy State is being bought out by another bank. I have not been able to access my account for over a week and nobody seems to care. I have tried calling customer service and the local branch countless times only to get a busy signal. I was told that the email I sent to customer service was forwarded to the local branch, but I’ve been waiting four days for a reply. I highly recommend banking anywhere else.

    In response to Happy State Bank’s generic copied and pasted reply: your empty apology does nothing to address my issues. In fact this pseudo-apology only served to reinforce my decision to take my business elsewhere. I have already emailed customer service to no avail, which you would have known if anybody actually bothered to read my review. Also, what does gratitude have to do with anything? I don’t want gratitude, I want to be able to access the services that were offered when I opened my account.

    This bank is small and it is very polite,they watch out for their customers

    This used to be a very good bank before the buy out. I called there 3 times this week and was sent to corporate every time due to the branch not answering the phone. Finally got to talk with them on the issue we were having. They drilled my safety deposit box and shipped everything to Arkansas. Now they want a bunch of money to give me my stuff back due to me not “responding” to them. I explained you had the wrong address but you had the right email, why couldn’t you email me and let me know. They then told me we can’t email you only mail through the mail. You would think when the letter was returned you could try the email and see if that works, which it would have because I confirmed with them the email was correct. The person on the phone was a rude, which I’m sure I was too but they are a little aggravating. It’s 2023 people, it’s time to use email. I deal with several banks and every single one of them emails me. The new ownership if this bank is a joke, I will never do business with them again.

    It means a lot that you took the time to read my review, then right clicked and pasted your response! I would have felt better had you not even responded rather than give me the same “apology” you gave the previous reviewer. I will say you did reach out to me today via email so I guess that’s improvement.
