Sold me a Yeti Nano mic with a mess up port.
Then I checked the receipt; you can’t make returns unless you pay an extra 5% for a protection plan, which wasn’t explained to me when they offered the plan at checkout.
So they don’t inspect/test items they buy, leave the responsibility of inspecting the merchandise to the customer; while also making the customer PAY for the privilege of being eligible for a return and refund.
And guess what. THIS IS ALL LEGAL UNDER TEXAS LAW.

The young man at the counter was nice but Mel, assistant manager that “helped” me was very rude. I brought in new top dollar electronics that I see are selling in the store and she flat told me no with no reason and then refused to take some items because I didn’t have the up to date charger that every day people have already. She also tried to sign me up for a loan with interest after I had already told her I was there to just sell the items. She really didn’t care about the customers at all.
Best customer service! Melorie was very polite . Very knowledgeable. She listened to what I was looking for and directed right to the perfect purchase. I would definitely recommend her if your looking to buy from Cash America Pawn. I will be buying from her again! Keep up the good work Melorie!
