Have been with the same bank for over 20 years. Since it was Community credit union. They have been bought out multiple times and now this place is horrible. So many transactions get declined and they lock my card every few times I use it. Stay away from this bank. One star is too high of a score.
Update* Today had to take my kid to the ER. When It came time to pay what do you know but Prosperity declined the payment going through like they do way too often. I would not be surprised if this bank doesn’t last much longer. It really is sad to see how far “this” bank has fallen.
I appreciated Prosperity banks help. I had to change a small amount of money and it was 5:50pm. I went to PNC and they declined assisting at all because I wasn’t an account holder. Prosperity Bank was just down the street and was helpful in providing cash services so I could pay the individual I needed to.

This bank has really gone downhill since prosperity bought them. Was here today and they wanted to charge me 5% to use their coin machine to count coins , even though I’ve been a customer for almost 10 years. I guess no wonder the place was completely empty. Feel free to see my five star reviews when they were Legacy. Just FYI. Credit Union Of Texas offers this for free. It’s simply the cost of doing business I believe.
