Actually a 4.5 stars for me but either way…
We have banked with US Bank for over a decade and have been mostly satisfied. This branch has been quite helpful to my family over the last year. Fees are mainly imposed on non account holding customers or low income accounts. Ie must maintain a substantial balance to eliminate a monthly maintenance fee etc. Don’t forget, there are free banking oprions in town or online if the fees seem too much for you 😎

Saying that I’m currently unsatisfied would be a woeful understatement.

I don’t think I could have been any clearer when I said “I’m closing my account,” and withdrew the entire balance. Imagine my surprise when I find out that, 5 months later, not only is my account *not* closed, but US Bank is levying maintenance and ‘low balance’ fees. And the national hotline is no help; I’m going to have to use my lunch hour to go into the building and get this hammered out.

I sincerely hope you don’t need to ask *why* I chose to take my banking elsewhere.

They charge $7.00 to cash a state issued child support check drawn off their bank. Checks less than $200 that people probably need if it’s child support. Just because you can doesn’t make it right.

They charge more hidden fees then what is legal. If you want to keep your hard earned money do not go here, it will cost a fortune.

This is great bank. The staff is friendly. My only complaint, is that during this time, the rule of not allowing people who don’t have an account cash checks through the drive thru, should have been waved until the pandemic is over. Having to pay fees to cash a payroll or government issued check elsewhere, is pretty inconvenient for a lot of folks right now. We could cash those checks through the drive thru for free, simply by showing our ID, and then we’d have all of our money, instead of just part of it.
