1)— I love shopping (yes paying for) at thrift stores, as I appreciate the unique items and frugal prices…as I’m a mom of 3.
2)— I’m not from here, so, in intire honesty, I had assumed the items out front were overstock and/or unwanted items…and honestly assumed they were free to the public. (Now I understand they aren’t, and apologize)………in my town, it widely known that at “God’s Corner Store”(a local resale shop) that the items place out front on the red bench are ALWAYS free, and there is also a local Clothes Closet, that everyone knows that what’s placed on the porch is ALWAYS free………so, again, ma’am I do apologize for this misunderstanding.
3)— I’d always wanted the opportunity to shop in your store, however I don’t know the correct store hours, as everytime I’ve had took a trip out to LaGrange to shop there, I find it to be closed………Again, I’ve been wanting to shop here, as I’ve read the good reviews, and wanted to check it out too.
4)— I put your pots and pans back when asked, I apologized that day for the misunderstanding, had cash on hand and offered to pay what you’d want for them and was denied to do so, I politely asked what the correct business hours we’re and was denied knowledge of such. Why must this business owner continue to publicly (over social media platforms) shame and embarras someone for a simple misunderstanding and make it out to be that I’ve stolen for her business, why don’t you share the entire video and audio feed of what actually happened……again I do apologize for all the misunderstanding….I never meant no harm in any of this.
Absolutely love this lil gem of a store. Went in looking for some snow boots and we all know how this isn’t something one finds easily in TX. All it took was a slight mention to the owner of what I was lacking for an upcoming trip and even though they weren’t out on the floor, she knew she had something in the back that may work and they sure did! And at a great price too for the great condition they were in. She always remembers her customers and has great prices on her items. An absolute asset to the community and her Facebook posts are always helpful and entertaining!
Awesome store with a great selection! The owner is so nice and is a one woman show! It’s so good to see a successful female business owner!!! I will be stopping by anytime I’m in town! ❤️
Ms. Linda is amazing. I had a lot of luck finding different clothing items that match my unique and eccentric style. Prices are absolutely on point especially in a climate where vintage resellers are exploiting the thrift world, making it financially inaccessible to the average citizen.
One of my favorite resale shops in La Grange, TX. Linda is always so kind and items are a great find and fairly priced. I have been shopping here for years and even before 4peas was in this location. It always been great to find children’s clothing for a great price since my child has grown like a weed throughout the years. I can always count on 4peas to find what I need for my family and home. I have since moved from La Grange but I love to visit this resale shop when I’m in town visiting family.
