Once again this bank has messed with the lives of the innocents.
after trying to call and speak with a banker for 2 days (no one available to answer) I decided to go in and talk to a bank in regards to a simple question. All I wanted to know was could I cash a check from another bank if I don’t have a chase account. The teller decides to take my check and go ask her manager, when she returns with my check, I noticed she went ahead and stamped the back of the check. She then states she was unable to cash my check since I was not a Chase member. She put a line though the stamp saying all should be good. Well, currently, I am unable to cash the check now because of this stamp!! They also said I could open an account with them, but they would put a 14 day hold on the check. This check is for rent, I don’t have 14 days! Thank you Chase for once again being the reason I only bank with virtual banks!!
