    A very decent bank. Cozy and quiet. Been there a number of times, but only as a visitor accompanying someone who has an account there. This branch seems to have a niche clientele, and that is perhaps the reason the traffic is meager, which is nice. And every time I was impressed – by the way the clientele were served and by the friendliness and professionalism of the bankers, tellers, and even the security personnel. Special shout-out to Banker La Shawn who has been particularly helpful to the account holder I accompanied. And if one needs to wait a while, there’s always coffee, cookies or bottled water to keep that person company.

    Frankly, if I could, I’d switch my account to this branch in the blink of an eye. That says it all.

    Your manager Erika was so rude to point out my mental illness is showing…….. what was the point of that? All these adults had to do was explain “I do apologize we have no authority to give you information about another institution” “oh. K.” I proceed to leave and move on with my life. No; the grow woman got nervous about my behavior on my meds! I mentioned I suffer from depression and anxiety, if she’s nervous why even bother with the customer?! Oh but she has the nerve to say “we care about your safety are you safe with the person you’re on the phone with” excuse me?!!! When did I indicate I was scared. I’m just annoyed about the first experience I had. Very upset about having to go to my attorney about this. 😞 so not funny. At all. How could someone cause this much emotional distress to a person that is knowingly suffering. Short answer she does not like me as a customer because of my anxiety. Now I have to go find a new bank for my direct deposit when all I did was ask a question about my check. HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH MY PERSONAL CHECKING ACCOUNT. nothing at all.

    Update: I did nothing wrong to deserve this. Congratulations🍾

    So I have never heard of this bank! However I received a small check from an accident case and my attorney told me to cash it here since it was from this bank.
    Melinda gave excellent service and I felt very comfortable to ask to open an account. She then sent me to Nicole in banking services since she was only a teller.
    Nicole was seemingly helpful, we started off decent, however when she did some kind of check on me credit wise. My name came up in Chex systems. Appalling, I have never heard of chexsystems anyhow she became sarcastic. Her niceness turned into ‘you need to call them we can’t open an account or do anything for you!’
    I said okay and attempted to call these folks to find out why is my name listed there. After reaching a representative both Nicole and I sat there trying to get this straightened.
    The representative said she will mail the information to me and couldn’t give it over the phone. Anyhow unable to accomplish opening an account I left.

    I then stopped at Greater Texas Credit Union where I was able to open both a checking and saving account. I asked the banker there about chexsystems. He said my name came up on something with Santander bank. Now I don’t know of any association with Santander bank except from the news about the classaction suit someone filed because of Fraud. He gave me a print out.

    The next day I took the copy to Frost bank and tried explaining. Nicole was off but I spoke to LaShaun. She was so rude wow! A black woman! As if she’s so perfect! Very defensive as if I’m a criminal or something. Hello in all my years I have never experienced such.
    I’ve worked thirty plus years in nursing. Never did anything dishonest and now that I’m old have no intention to start. However LaShaun showed me something what a joke? My name was use fraudulently I have to face this but she ridiculed me as if she knew me. I guess she has dealt with so many criminals or dishonest people that she associates most black people as that. Also being black herself and knowing some of us cannot be trusted she has to protect her limited position. In a way I felt disgusted yet sorry for this person. I’ve learnt It takes one thing to damage you in a split second regardless of all the good you do in this world. Now here’s a what… less than $15 an hour banking associate looking down on me judging me Really! Anyhow I pray she always keeps her position but without respect I don’t see her lasting. My god the nerve! I have never had issues opening an account anywhere but I would never recommend this bank after my experiences.

    My fiancé and I went in for notary service. Which at 1st seemed like we were going to get. The lady behind the counter was rather short and rude. Smug I dare say. She pretty much refused us service because there was places for 2 witnesses which she stated multiple times they do not provide. We only wanted her to watch the 2 of us sign a a for residency…which i brought proof for. multipul items. but she was very matter of fact she was not about to do it. then i requested a 2cnd doc i had of the same that did not require a notary stamp, but i wished it to be done anyhow..and that was totally out of the question. moved on to my old bank chase who was very kind about it, and did both with no issue. took all of 3 min. bajeezus

    I have been with frost for years. I used to be happy but when the manager of my branch moved the place went to heck fast. That is the branch on ball park in Arlington. I have 3 accounts there while opening a new business I had opened a fourth account and it took a long time to get my permits so when it was finally ready to roll I found out my account had been closed and they would not reopen it. So I am taking all my business and moving on. When did you become a big bank who doesn’t care frost.
