This is actually a review for Merrill Edge, but since Bank of America owns Merrill Edge and you can’t leave a review for Merrill Edge, so be it. I wish I had the option to choose negative stars. My mother passed away in April. To transfer the money from her IRA to her estate, I had to set up a new account. Four months later, I’ve submitted paperwork five times, called at least ten times, and no progress at all. Worst customer service experience ever. I recommend choosing any bank other than Bank of America. And definitely don’t choose Merrill for your retirement account.
Bank of America has the worst eco as president of the bank they are only interned in the money the have no support for their clients even though you were hacked. they refuse to refund your money. The Fraud department rather send you a letter to say i sorry that you are a victim of scam then refunding the money. So, i might stop my direct deposit until i am refunded of my money that i lost.
I had a children’s savings account. Shortly after I turned 18, I went to check on it. They charged me so many fees that I had to pay them to close my first account. I vowed to never use this bank, and I haven’t. Terrible.
This is a terrible bank. I had them since I was in high school and when I was scammed. No one contacted me they just closed my account down and when I contacted them to remove the fraudulent activity due to the fact I have no history of fraud good record I was passed around the employees was rude and provided me with wrong information and refused to help. Don’t Bank here if you can. Bank of America has ruined my life honestly wish I never opened an account here.
I had a issue with my debit card so I called the service center and this is where my story took a wrong turn. I talked to a agent and he kept asking me questions and I would answer the questions and then he would ask me another. He then said he would send me an emal and it took awhile before I received it in my emails, he was so impatient that he didn’t give it time for me to receive the email. Then he he told me I had to go to my bank branch to solve this problem and said goodbye abruptly. But I felt that he treated me somewhat other than an over year member should be treated so I called back and got another agent, now this is when my story took another turn. The new agent that took my call was pleasant and knowledgeable he was more than happy to help me with my situation. He gave me two more options that I didn’t know I had. I really appreciated all that he did to help me with this situation. He explained the time limits that I might have to experience which was very helpful, now I can plan how to deal with my financial issues. So I would like to thank Francisco #98WHW for all he did for me, I really appreciate all that he did. My situation is not solved and I have anxiety about when it will be. But I put my trust in God and I’m believing that everything will be alright. As for the first guy I hope I never get him again if there is a problem with my account. Thank you for hearings my concern.
