Saw the negative reviews thought I would add mine. Quite a musty place with terrible salesmen and low balling offers on guns way better than what they carry. The guns they have are in poor shape and must have been sold to them for nickles by crackheads. Then for them to turn around and try to sell for retail. I’ve never seen a so called store worker who’s job is to sell use there phone and completely ignore customers. I guess they know they have bad prices on used guns and know management doesn’t care so that can’t be helped. I left this place hoping they would maybe fix things, but from what the latest reviews said they must have gotten worse. I was greated in nicely that’s about it. Sadly this place isn’t in its prime anymore. Being friendly even if it’s forced and making adjustments as well as being reasonable goes a long way. 7/10 just cause I think this place has potential to be okay.
Heard about Danny’s and we had to check it out. Great selection for your gun needs. Layaway is available and the prices are decent. Staff was knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. Ammo is tight right now but you can definitely call ahead to ask about availability. Will be back.
That old guy at the gun area needs to step up on his customer service, came to ask for a specific gun for my dad’s birthday, he seems uninterested. Didn’t even look at me while I was asking him about a specific pistol I was planning to gift to my dad so I left.

We’ve bought our 1st Browning here with Mike he did an excellent job as always showing my wife and I how to compare and save on purchases.We return with Mike again and got my wife a Beretta .I highly recommend Danny’s Pawnshop & Sporting Goods .This place treats customer like family 🙏 that’s the reason God has blessed it,the Owners and it’s Employees.Thanks Danny and Mike, and the rest of the employees for great shopping memories and continuous service to McAllens residence and the entire RGV. <><
So I went to Danny randomly and realized they offer 3 months layaway..on any item..super cool and convenient given these unprecedented times…so anything that you see u are able yo own by paying down whatever u can in the moment. It’s a nice thrifty store I’ll say
