5 Reviews on “Bank of Texas”
All the tellers and banking officers made me feel very welcomed. Even though I didn’t qualify for a regular checking account I was still able to open a second chance checking. Anyone looking to build a banking relationship with a good bank I’d suggest Bank of Texas.
Excellent location. Clean and comfortable facility. I was greeted right away, I did not have an appointment, however, I never spent a minute waiting, I was taken right away to open an account. Norma made it easy to navigate the process and choose the right account for our nonprofit.
I will absolutely go back to this location, although Bank of Texas in general has been amazing in the years we’ve had a personal account there, this made it very easy for us to choose them for our business needs as well.
I highly recommend Ms. Felecia Ellis, VP and Banking Center Manager at Bank of Texas. She has provided valuable advice and help to me over the last several years. She is very knowledgeable and experienced. She is able to provide solutions to problems and follows through on her promises.
The serve a group of scammers who send fake checks from their bank to people to set up home office equipment for a job with a real company the scammers don’t represent. And when you call to verify the check Bank of Texas says they don’t have a recorded line (fishy right) so you have to use their automated service which says the check will clear. But in reality the checks are fake. Mind you this isn’t the phone number to the bank listed on the check either. I independently looked up the bank and called the number provided here on Google. If they’re not a scam they work for scammers &/or allow scammers to open accounts and serve them. Without a bank to do the switcheroo with the check verification the scammers couldn’t scam. Be WARE!
I bet these glowing reviews are fake too.
They don’t tell you the truth and treat you like criminals. I opened an account with them because they said they have a “24 hour ExpressBank”, but you can only speak to someone with the bank Monday to Friday from 7am to 9pm and Saturday from 8 am to 5pm. That is NOT 24 hour banking. They are also the ONLY bank that makes you show an ID just to get a roll of coins. What’s with that?!?
