Bought an Xbox series x. They plugged it in and it seemed to work fine. Brought it home and put a game in and it sounded like a jet engine. Brought it back. The employee said I did not buy the POM warranty ($15). The warranty was never offered to me. This place is trash. They will rip you off. Avoid at all costs. There are better pawn shops out there. Almost bought an electric dirt bike there. Realized it was the same price for a new one at Walmart. Will not go back.
I always come here when we come to town. Love it and very friendly. But today boy oh boy lady was in a horrible mood and they were already standing on the door that they were closing yet it’s 6:08. My son wanted an item and we wanted to ask for price to get it. But she made my experience to never go. Don’t like your job get a new one…….
I always shop at Cash America on So. Main where is customer service is superb. Love the greeting I receive when walking into the store nearly 2-4 times a month. The District Manager Robert and Store Manager Nikko makes my shopping experience enjoyable. I’ve given them both a plaque because of their service and love they show for Ms. Birdie.
Latinos complaining about this cash America location “favoring” black people when 99% of the pawn shops in houston are run by Hispanics who NEVER give blacks discounts on potential purchases. This pawn shop has treated me fairly 100% no complaints at all. 5/5 stars
Tony looked at my coffee maker and decided within 20 seconds of inspecting the item they would not accept it due to the dust around the rim and water marks created by the water the machine holds I offered to go clean the machine more because it was just a little dusty and was told no and given no chance to respond before the assistant manager Tony turned his back on me and started to occupy himself with busy work. I do a lot of business with this cash America pawn and love all of the other associates in fact the other assistant manager had to come explain the policy and provide me an alternative option because of how short and unwilling the first assistant manager Tony (who also did not have a name tag on) was. If not for the store manager Niko and all the other associates at the store I would have given a lower star rating but because of the experience I had with Tony 3 starts is as high as I can go.
