Been banking with Amegy for a number of years In. Pasadena Texas where it was Southwest Bank of Texas before becoming Amegy in Texas. It’ a good bank at least the ones I have dealt with. Amegy Bank, Continue to Keep your Tellers and Staff courteous and informed with ” Current Banking Regulations and common sense .” keep up the good work.

Holy cow! I have never worked with a more convoluted bank in my life. The mortgage services are terrible. Multiple websites, multiple phone numbers.. ugh. I can’t get a human on the phone that can help me. I get transferred a minimum of 3 times, everytime. Most times, I’m told to call some other number because they can’t help me.
All I want to do is pay a lump sum to principle. That should be pretty straightforward, right? Not with these clowns! Beware! Run as fast as you can to another bank to handle your loans.
I switched to Amegy during the pandemic because the mega-bank I was with gave my business no help whatsoever re. the government’s COVID assistance programs. I’ve been extremely impressed with the people and the products Amegy has. It feels like a small town bank that’s truly interested in you and your business.
