As a business this has been our bank for 10+ years that we have been using, and for the first time in the history of us using this bank the “new management” JUST TODAY… told us that if we want to WITHDRAW MONEY FOR OUR BUSINESS… we have to show up at least an hour before close, or call ahead because it’s a “hassle” for him to have to re-open the vault. As someone who has ALSO worked in banking, and especially for this building that is downtown and works predominantly with bars/night clubs… I found that comment to be not only offensive, but extremely lackadaisical and disrespectful.
He’s a white-passing adult with braces, flamboyant with attitude, and overtly condescending.
Let’s get rid of him.
He sucks.

Don’t bother trying to open an account with these guys, they’ll make you jump through so many hoops it’s not worth it. I have 4 large accounts with JP Morgan (Merchant, business, investment and personal) and wanted to move them over to Frost. I called their number, the lady said I have to go to a branch to speak with a banker and investment advisor. I asked to make an appointment, but she said just show up, they don’t do appointments.
I drive downtown, park and I’m greeted by another gatekeeper (the receptionist) who gives me a 15 second speech about the perks of a checking account. Then I tell her I want to open a business account and she grills me on if I’m filed correctly, do I have an EIN, etc.. (Basically trying to vet me). I just tell her it’s a very well established company and I just need to speak to a banker about what Frost offers. She hands me a posted note with a phone number to call, and that nobody will meet with me there since I haven’t “gotten to that point yet”.
Good riddance Frost, I’ll take my business elsewhere.
Finally… a bank where a human-being answers the phone, without subjecting me to dealing with useless automated systems.
Add to the above: friendly caring employees.
Have been banking with Frost for about 2 years now… and still very happy.
Frost Bank is amazing. I will never bank anywhere else. I have had many not so great, and some terrible experiences with other banks. I have been with Frost for over 10 years and I can say every experience I’ve had has been great. Helpful, prompt, knowledgeable staff, no matter which location. You always speak to a live person when you call. Thank you!
I can’t say enough about what a great bank this is, but the experience I had with Edwin from start to finish was by far the best customer experience I have ever had. In fact, I have never actually left a review in my life other than to get a free meal. But I’m pretty Edwin could be running the place.
