    COVID UPDATE: this location has been very easy to work with during this trying time. I was able to make an appointment with my financial planner, and excellent COVID precautions were in place. You are also able to make appointments with other bankers for issues that cannot be handled online or over the phone. You will feel very safe in the office.

    I have been a TWCU member for more than 20 years. I’ve had good service both in AZ and TX. I have a variety of accounts with them from savings, line of credit, to IRA. I do all of my money transactions with this credit union. The individuals who work at this branch are wonderful. They are always so friendly and willing to go the extra mile to assist me. They never push services on me. They genuinely seem to be happy to be at work, which is nice to see in today’s world. I recommend TWCU and I highly recommend visiting this branch should you need to interact with someone in person.

    I just move here and I have gone into this branch several times. Always greeted with a smile! Everyone I have encountered here is really nice. I especially like Monique! She is a member service rep. She did a great job helping me open my account and do many additional services with my new account. Monique is very sweet and we talked like we were good friends which I appreciate! The only reason I am not giving this branch all 5 stars is because usually going in I have to expect to spend more time there than I would prefer. I look forward to continue to using this branch for all my banking needs! Thank you Truwest! You’re the best!

    They wouldn’t process my deposit to an affiliated credit union inside and told me to use the ATM, which also wouldn’t accept the deposit. Waste of time.

    Truwest continues to disappoint. Just came in to deposit a check from CarMax and they put a double split hold on the check “because of the amount.” Why? It’s coming from a reputable firm and bank (Wells Fargo). Also, their Debit card printer doesn’t work and they have you wait soooo long to get those printed. Those two plus the fact that they have lousy savings account rates and their sign in experience is terrible on joint accounts will have me moving all my money out of this CU. Go with an online banker or Chase or WF. Better rates, less hassle. Seriously took all the fun out of getting my car sold.

    Went to get my card replaced and mark gave me a brand new card with an expiration of this month. I went The following day I got A new card was told it would activate within 2 hours it was a Saturday so I assume The weekend delayed it but it is now Tuesday and it still doesn’t work. I called customer care they said the expiration date printed on the card is incorrect. This location clearly does not know how to make a card. First and last time at this location. I will Stick to my south Austin location sadly they are closed for water damage so I had No other option but to come to Howard location
