    Absolutely incompetent. I’ve been a customer for over 10 years and will be closing my account next week because of this branch. I showed up needing a replacement card as mine was damaged. I specifically stated I wanted the same card number or I don’t want a replacement. I also stated that I needed it sent to a temporary address as I am temporarily working in another state at the moment.

    12 days later I call this branch to find out I have a new card number which was sent to the wrong address. I’m told they’ll call me back and get things figured out. 2 days after that my card is cancelled. The closest branch is over 1,000 miles from me. I spend 2 hours on the phone with corporate debating that I shouldn’t have to pay expedited shipping because of their mistakes. They could have said the same card number wasn’t possible and we could have called it a day, yet here we are.

    I’m done with Comerica.

    I have been with this bank for over 6 years. I called to ask if a notary was available an hour before I showed up. They said I should be able to show up and be in and out. After sitting and waiting 10 mins I was told she would be there in an hour. I also asked for assistance in changing my address and they told me they were unable to help. I did it on my phone in less than 2 minutes as I waited. Terrible customer service.

    I hope after COVID they will open the banks back up inside. The drive thru service is slow and they are always busy. When I drive up, there’s always a wait, usually a long one. The lines behind me build up too. Too much wait time now. If this is Comerica’s future, I will have to switch banks. I miss the personal touch of the inside, they are great!

    Inside service is a tad on the bad side. Staff is not courteous or friendly….they came off as authoritative and bossy.

    Inside staff did however inform me of their fancy atm. I finally used and whoa!!!

    The atms have a live banker feature that allows you to literally see and speak to a human. All you need is the account number and account name. No debit card or pin.

    The banker comes on the screen within seconds and takes care of the transaction super fast! Their goal is 2 mins or less.

    The atm banker was super nice and fast….100 times better than the inside staff!!!! Plus, atm banker hours are 7am to 8pm, M-F and 7am to 4pm on Saturday. These hours are Sooo much better than the inside branch. You won’t catch me going inside any longer!

    The banking staff and banking center manager specifically are friendly, helpful and professional. They understand their banking products well and they are also helpful over the phone.
