1 Reviews on “Bank of America ATM (Drive thru)”
I closed my Chase business account which I was told to do by the Chase claims department and was sent the remaining balance of $200 as an “endorse” cashier check. I went to the Lamar Chase bank to cash it, the manager told me I couldn’t because the check wasn’t in my personal name. Of course it wouldn’t because most business owners don’t put their business in their personal names. She told me I had to reopen my business account in the same business name just to cash it. When I tried to do that, she told me I had to open it in the state my business is registered in. Mind you, I closed it out a that very bank. So, I can close out my business bank account in a state it wasn’t registered in, but can’t reopen up one? They saw my information was in the system – my business name and name as the owner – but still refuse to cash the Chase cashier’s check their company made. Again, the cashier’s check was an “endorse” check. The Chase writer’s department told me over the phone I could just write my name next to the “ENDROSE HERE” section and cash it at any Chase bank. I went to the Chase on Collins St and the African American teller cashed it with no problem. All I had to show was two forms of I.D. I brought my business documents just in case. I feel I was racially discriminated against at the Lamar Chase.
