5 Reviews on “Chase Bank”
4 people can walk into this bank at any time and it makes the wait time for anything 30+ min. I know staffing is hard now but it’s impressive here. Great customer service when I finally get help
Overall I’ve been happy with Chase Bank but the ATMs at this location are ridiculously slow. At night or early morning when the lobby is closed this is a huge security risk when you’re at the ATM so long to make a deposit or get cash.
Waste of time. Schedule an appointment for any of your banking needs no matter how slow they are
TERRIBLE experience!!!! The staff up there do not follow through with processes of setting up accounts properly. They claim to take care of your accounts but they leave you hanging. They have cost me THOUSANDS of dollars due to them not finishing setting up my accounts as I requested ! Yet they told me for YEARS that all was set up in a trust — but their back end never finished the process! TERRIBLE ! TERRIBLE!! Do not trust this company with anything!!!
I closed my Chase business account which I was told to do by the Chase claims department and was sent the remaining balance of $200 as an “endorse” cashier check. I went to the Lamar Chase bank to cash it, the manager told me I couldn’t because the check wasn’t in my personal name. Of course it wouldn’t because most business owners don’t put their business in their personal names. She told me I had to reopen my business account in the same business name just to cash it. When I tried to do that, she told me I had to open it in the state my business is registered in. Mind you, I closed it out a that very bank. So, I can close out my business bank account in a state it wasn’t registered in, but can’t reopen up one? They saw my information was in the system – my business name and name as the owner – but still refuse to cash the Chase cashier’s check their company made. Again, the cashier’s check was an “endorse” check. The Chase writer’s department told me over the phone I could just write my name next to the “ENDROSE HERE” section and cash it at any Chase bank. I went to the Chase on Collins St and the African American teller cashed it with no problem. All I had to show was two forms of I.D. I brought my business documents just in case. I feel I was racially discriminated against at the Lamar Chase.
