I was buying my third car from car country dealership and I work out of town out of state most of the time. I was current on my car payments just my insurance lapsed and they repo my car by the time I got back into town from work it was already sold by the people that towed it And courtesy call would’ve been all it would’ve taken for them to still get their money and me to still have my car. And I refuse to pay for car I don’t have. I had no idea what was going on until it was too late.
I’ve never been one to leave review unless it’s good. BUT this one is bad VERY bad there phone services are badly maintained. The phone constantly its mid conversation, which leads to me having to do the whole process over just to get bad service. I’m not here to destroy a name but it needs to get better this is peoples money and lives that’s being negatively impacted because of this. I was marked down for a one day late payment, not even my fault btw. I couldn’t get in touch with a rep, second I wasn’t given the info for my account, Not okay. This needs to be fixed please and thank you.
It is 10:00 am CST, which would make it 7am PST & I’m getting a Voicemail for a business that claims to open at 5am PST, Left a VM bet i wont get a call back. & here I am trying to understand how their math works cause even with my interest I should only owe about 3k on my vehicle. Be careful with this company & if you can find a better finance company go with them cause Westlake Financial will rob you.
This is bar far the worse company to everyone. Paid the money for a repossession. Wait first when I called they said that I told them that they was harassing me and to never call me again which was a lie! 2 they tell me that my account was 57 days past due. When I told them that I had called to make a payment arrangement. Because I was having surgery which was 2weeks ago and I was calling to make the payment today they repossessed my truck. Called made the payment the representative had an attitude when I asked for the number to place where they sent my vehicle. Told her what the previous rep told me. The next rep I talked to said you have several times and your not getting your truck back today I was told I was being unreasonable and that other customers have being waiting since Monday Tuesday and Wednesday it s now Friday and they have there vehicle returned , I said don’t you think that is unfair to all customers that you guys rush someone to make payment and the payment cleared and post then you say 48-72 hours to get back.This company is horrible to its customers. Please is do not use them a after this I surely won’t
This is by far the worst company I have ever done business with. You can never speak with a supervisor or anyone other than the representatives that answer the phone. And the representatives do not all provide the same answer, they lie! Even when you authorize a payment and they make 2 withdrawals from my account for the same month, they tell me it was my fault. Not sure how or why, but my fault. Then they only refund the payment amount, but not the processing fee. They have no way to refund it, guess it is another way to scam a few bucks from hardworking honest people.
If you are considering using Westlake, read all reviews first and don’t make the same mistake I did by financing through Westlake. The loan officer I used told me how good they were, they must pay him a commission to say that.
