I was definitely discriminated at this branch. I the employee Shirley was very rude and patronizing towards me. I was ignored initially then she helped a white man who came in behind me smiling and laughing with him. They treated me like I was a beggar on the street and acted as if they were CSI undergoing an investigation in order to cash my cashier’s check that was drawn from this very bank. They did a thorough check 3 times even asking me what I did to get this check as if it were stolen.
I would give PNC Bank zero stars if that were an option. Not because of the people who work at this branch as I genuinely believe they just get no support and no answers from a completely incompetent disaster of a corporate bank. Their phone support is a joke, website perhaps the worst financial institution website I have ever seen, and all the way up to the executive level, not one person seems to be accountable for anything. I had an account that they screwed up and then were not able to fix, so I had to open a new account. Then made a deposit that is required by law to have the funds available next business day, bank manager gave her word that it would be available next business day… and that was 4 business days ago. Nobody can tell me anything about where my money is. Nobody returns calls. Nobody owns fixing their mess. Avoid this bank like it was giving out the plague with every checking account. Run, don’t walk to literally ANY other financial institution. I will be closing my account the minute they find my money (as scary as that thought sounds) and I withdraw every penny. Also filing complaints with the agencies that regulate them.
Update: After stating that I wasted over 30 HOURS on the phone with PNC employees last week, they respond to this review asking me to reach out. No. I’m it reaching out. You had opportunities to fix the mistake and did not. Their ‘Chief Customer Officer’ reached out to tell me the issue was resolved (finally), but didn’t even offer an apology when given an easy opportunity to do so.
Shirley is amazing!! She helped me get my refund check back from a glitch on the web banking system when they charged my account twice for my auto loan. She really cared and was very sweet. Thank you again Shirley!!
This was an amazing place to go! I was treated by Jonathan who was extremely helpful! He was able to direct me to a representative in regard to a new account! And was able to help me with any questions I had! Thank you for your help!!
Bennett was also an excellent help in regard to setting everything up! He explained everything to me in a clear and concise way, and got everything done in just a couple of minutes! Thank you again!
Valerie Z was so helpful. She went above and beyond to help my husband and I. She was able to dig into past accounts and resolve an issue for us.
