Been going in to buy/sell guns and coins since 1999. It’s just as much a part of Austin as the Spoke or Dirty’s. Love this place. If you gave them a bad review, they probably didn’t like the look/sound of you. (Selling them coins got me through college!)
By far the worst store I have ever been to in my life. I dropped of an item to get fixed and it was forgotten about for a month, then shipped and now still have no confirmation on its return. I am sitting here waiting will being pushed around and given no information. The fact that I had to write a review says enough. I have never written a review in my life which shows how awful this place is and it’s hilarious. The owner John McBride would raise his voice on the phone and treat you like you don’t know what you are talking about and hangs up on you whenever he’s “bored of the conversion”. Micheal is the only individual who is caring to help with the situation because the owner himself could care less about this situation. I will never step foot into this store again and advise everyone to stay away. It amazes me how some owners treat customers.
Had a really good experience here today. As far as I’m concerned, they have earned my business for life.
Went in to purchase a rifle for a non-profit auction. Mr McBride could not have been more helpful and caring. He sold the rifle to us at cost for the good of the non profit. The sales associate was excellent with recommendations for the right rifle.

I like working with some of the guys – Chris was pleasant and it was nice to discuss trade pricing with Mr. McBride himself. I have purchased multiple firearms. Only negative was that the armorer didn’t show much interest in fixing my friend’s gun, so we went elsewhere.
The best gun and coin shop in Austin. I’ve been coming here for almost 10 years, and I’ve never been disappointed with the unique guns of all types. The staff are more than helpful and never try to over sell. I truly trust these guys. Thank you Mr. McBride for keeping up such a tight ship.
