I liked the fact that my paperwork was done & all I had to do was sign it & that money was electronically transferred! However, I was in the parking lot at 1:30pm for my appointed meeting time at 2pm! Sign on door read OUT TO LUNCH! The agent finally opened the door at 3:30pm!!! I should have been informed that agent I had worked with was not there and/or informed I could choose another day to come in or later time that same day! I found this unprofessional business practice! I appreciate all ONE MAIN has given me, but this just was not right!
I needed financing for a transmission work. I initiated my call to Kevin the Branch Manager in the early morning while at work, and by 5:00 pm or shortly after I had my loan. They staff was friendly and helpful and their efforts got my vehicle back to me the next day. They set reasonable payments that should not cause me any hardships. Having your transmission go out is a terrible feeling. These folks contributed to the experience feeling very positive. It is good to have a service out there when it is needed that does require an arm and leg to help you.
Sarah is extremely rude and so are most of the other women that work in this office. I was approved yesterday and submitted paperwork which confirmed the income that I said I made and when Sarah called me today she was rude and just said “I’ll decision this out” and would not tell me what that meant. I had to go online to check my own status to see if I was approved or not and found out that she denied me. Stay clear of this place. They are liars.
Why are you charging a daily rate of 30% on a principal loan of $2,500 and ignoring my questions about it? I understand how APR works, but your lack of response makes it seem like you’re trying to scam me. A daily rate of 30% amounts to $750 a day—how is that acceptable? If you can’t explain the daily rate because you’re either not knowledgeable or are intentionally misleading people, then you need a new job.
I’ve never had a manager raise their voice at me and coerce me into signing a loan by making me feel incompetent and dismissing my concerns, insisting I focus only on the APR when I mentioned the loan would only be for 2 months. Then she stated that they can’t calculate the daily rate because “it’s pennies”—which is clearly not true. If you can’t explain this, I’ll take my business elsewhere.
Shelly is the worst manager and needs better people skills. Additionally, whoever hires and trains the representatives teaches them to skip over important details just to get you to sign, hoping that you don’t have basic mathematical skills that’s required from a high school degree.
