I arrived at the branch at approximately 11:50 AM. The customers’ line at the branch waiting to be attended to by the bank tellers was very long, stretching outside of the bank door. Since I was there to see a banker to close my accounts, I entered and requested to see a banker. A female banker approached me and after telling her why I came to the bank, she asked me to wait because she had other people ahead of me. The banker advised me that it was going to take 20 to 25 minutes before she could attend to me. I told the banker I will wait. I waited in the lobby for about 35 to 40 minutes. While waiting, at about 12:35 PM, I observed that the front door entrance to the bank has been locked. Then, customers determined to be served came through the bank door into the bank, but they were told mostly in Spanish that the bank was closed. This did not seem right as the bank was supposed to close at 1:00 PM.
At about 12:37 PM, a teller who had been standing behind the counter for 5 or so minutes, talking to her peers, decided she was going to help me. I showed the teller my photo ID on my phone and my debit card in hand. She refused to accept it, saying that it is the bank’s rules that my ID must be handed to her in order to close my accounts. She suggested I come back the following week Monday. I advised her that the ID may be in my car and I do not understand why My ID photo on my phone was not sufficient proof of my identity. I left and went to my car. On the floor in my car was my ID. Immediately, I returned to the bank at 12:40 PM, I was refused entrance by the manager and told once they locked the door for the day, they would not open it. Remember, this bank branch was opened for business till 1:00 PM. Most of these bank staff do not care about the customers’ needs; it is always about what is for the best interest of the bankers. Customers do business at their own peril!
I really dislike this location. Wells Fargo as a whole is fairly decent even though I would never bank with them. This location is ridiculous to say the least! It’s like it’s on another planet. The service is severely sub par, the service associates are short and rude and not at all helpful. They are dressed the part of professionals but thats were their professionalism ends. I occasionally need to cash checks here, this location is the closest to me but I honestly will drive out of my way to avoid this disgrace of a bank!
Scheduled an appointment using the app to create a new checking account. Ivan was very friendly and answered all questions I had, not just about the checking account but also questions on CDs and Savings. He also explained things easy to understand. I got all help I needed and had wonderful experience!
The worst Wells Fargo branch I’ve ever been, extremely unprofessional staff giving wrong information causes inconvenience for client.I was shocked how Wells Fargo even allow the underperformed branch like this one exist, huge damage on Wells Fargo’s branding.
We were robbed for $8,000 cash after leaving this branch. They have no cameras outside and after requesting to hear from a bank president and the Wells Fargo Security officer, I haven’t heard a thing. There is no way anyone outside of that Bank would have known I withdrew that cash unless someone inside the bank tipped them off. The tellers at this location have children behind the counter. Children old enough to use a cell phone. The branch manager couldn’t tell me what Wells Fargo Was doing to investigate. Apparently this happened a week ago to an 80-year-old man, same bank. He was ultimately beat up in his home driveway. I want someone to reach out to me and address my security concerns at that branch. Something is terribly wrong with this picture.
