I’ve used this location many times over the years and I’ve never had any problems. My go to guy James is always on point and very helpful. I normally just go through the drive thru though because it’s always pretty fast.

Waited 20 minutes for someone to help me open a new account, and eventually ended up walking out. Everyone was occupied, but not with customers, with paperwork or ?. One person acknowledged my presence, told me to have a seat, then nothing for 15 minutes. Left, went to the 38th St. branch, and was helped by Will immediately. Next time, I’ll go straight to 38th St.
We have used Frost for years after being frustrated with other banks. Their customer service is exemplary and their bankers go out of their way to help you. COVID has been a perfect example of this. We got a PPP loan and our banker was hands on and helpful with the process. So much so that other friends with businesses moved there as well. When you call you will always get a human and they can typically solve any issue you have. I highly suggest you give them a try for commercial or personal banking.
Went to the branch on far west this am. 4 people sitting at their desk talking to each other. Only ONE teller. I needed to get temp checks, was told the teller has to help me. She was busy with a customer who was going to be awhile! I stood behind him, one of girls came up to talk to me (said: yes only teller can help me) (clearly the 4 people at their desks couldn’t help) and 3rd person walked in. Another teller walked out and started helping the lady behind me. Branch manager walks by me ask the same lady being helped if she needed help. she said: already being helped, manager looks at me and walks into her office! I left branch, rethinking why I have an account with frost. I’m in my late 40’s (used to model and now I’m an engineer) and dressed business casual, smiling, and friendly. I said hi when I walked in branch. I have no tattoos and welldressed. I had a girlfriend try to open an account at a different branch downtown, but because she had tattoo they refused to open her an account – seriously over tattoos! Its Austin! She now has an account at wells Fargo. This branch makes you feel like you have to be dressed up like a millionaire when you walk in to get helped! It’s a very uptight, stuffy branch!
