Had a free checking account with BBVA that was only used to deposit twice a month so that my 2 loan payments could be ACH drafted for those payments. Well 6 months after account was converted to a PNC virtual account they announced via email that they were going to end the service fee waiver and will now charge $7 for an account that was set up for their convenience. I went to the bank yesterday and was told that there was nothing they could do to assist me in regards to waiving the monthly service charge since I only use the account to deposit the loan payment funds. Well, that means I going close the checking account and just make the loan payments via direct payment. I suppose my loan business and the interest they earn from them are not enough to work with me. Very disappointed with the lack of good customer services from this financial institution.
I keep having issues with this bank, they lock my account when I call to verify what’s happening they keep transferring me, I go to the bank and I have to call again, they solve the problem then it happens again. Now I think this account is locked but a transaction somehow goes through then they overdraft me and once again I’m told to call one again I’m told I have to visit a branch I’m so exhausted and confused by the terrible customer service over the phone, update: I came in to a appointment with Cynthia at the 802 location she was a angel sent from heaven she solved my issues quickly and was so kind. I really appreciate her and this branch it’s the best one in Brownsville.
This for compass in general. On hold for 45 minutes. I hang up to schedule a call and it says error. My paycheck hasnt been credited. We were having a bday party. Im going back to bank of america. Never thought id say that!
Try not to do business here, especially if you see Lizette. Definitely knows how to add stress to something that should be pretty simple to do. Bbva is withholding my own savings even though I have never had a problem these past months taking money out from there. Only at this specific BBVA do I ever have problems and believe these people are taking money from everyone’s account. Watch your bank statements very closely because they surely don’t mind take a few 20s for themselves.
Very nice cashiers, but they never answer the phones whenever I called. Always had to go in in order to talk to someone at this local branch.
