I have been very unhappy for months now. BOW closed one branch in Casper months ago & the other is never open. I went today to withdraw money & they are closed. I tried to withdraw money from the ATM & it is out of money. I called BOW & they told me I could drive to Douglas, WY to withdraw or use another ATM. I shouldn’t have to pay another bank to get my funds. This is unacceptable for a bank.
I have been with Bank of the West for many many years and have been extremely happy. I live on the East side of Casper and was alway happy with the branch on this side. Then they up and closed it this summer and now I have to go all the way downtown just to get there and they are closed. It seems like the downtown branch is always closed or the ATM is always out of money. Their hours are 9 to 5 but the close for lunch. If you are going to close for lunch at least keep the drive through open until 5:30 or 6 for the normal working humans that bank there. Also, non of the people that worked at the East side branch work at the downtown branch. They do not make an effort to get to know their customers like the East side branch did. I miss Pat!!!! I have been extremely spoiled with excellent banking experiences that Pat and the other gals gave me and now I have been let down and I am extremely disappointed. They made a huge mistake closing that branch. Re-open the East side please. That is what a bank should be. Not what it is being represented as now. I don’t want to move banks because I have been there since I was 16 but they have made it so inconvenient and unpleasant to bank there.
if I could give them zero stars I would. every single time I try to send or receive a zelle payment my account goes on lockdown. can’t even make internal transfers. I call to verify my identity every time and the issue is never resolved. I’m actually on hold with them right now as I type this because it happened again. I can’t fathom why they do it every time when they payments I make are regular! unbelievable. do NOT use this bank if you want to be able to make external transfers.
when i went to the local branch to fix things, they claimed to not have enough staff?!?
Nothing like having two branches in town that are never open. You call and it says it should be open from9-4. Yet they’re not and haven’t been office or drive-through. Your customer care on a corporate level is a joke. I’m looking for a new bank.
Phone service is horrible. i was on the phone for over 50 minutes before i was connected to a rep to get 30 seconds of help.
