Backstory: I’ve been receiving a lot of scam texts from “Wells Fargo” for about a year now, until today when “they” actually called. I’ve never banked with Wells Fargo, although after today, I would consider changing that. Concerned my information had been stolen, I tried to called the 1 800 number, which is useless unless you have an account number with them (to be fair I find most 1 800 numbers to be useless). Frustrated, I called this branch.
This is where the Rave starts. Kat was the absolute best. When I called, she answered after only a ring or two. When I explained my situation to her, she was very friendly and quick to explain all of the scamming tactics going on with scammers using the Wells Fargo name.
Even though I could tell she was sure it was a scam, she was quick to sense my hesitancy and scheduled an appointment for me to come in and talk with her. absolutely INCREDIBLE. Even knowing I was not one of their customers yet, she was so caring and treated me as if I had been banking with them my entire life.
When I came in, the lady at the counter that checked me in was very friendly. I regret that I did not catch her name as well. Kat came out quick, took me to her office, and checked every possible place she could think to check to be sure no one had made an account in my name. She absolutely went above and beyond. Then she showed me some example scams vs. what they actually send out. She also gave me an email link to report my scam messages to.
I’m sorry I wasted her time, but I am so thankful for her.
Great location on the East side of town. and the bankers are very polite as I was a walk-in today and got seen and questions answered!
If I could give them less I would! I went in to get a $100 bill broken into $20 and they denied because I had no account! I had them cash all I needed was to break it so I could purchase some fast food… The prco cashier didn’t want it, the KFC didn’t have enough to break it, and I went in to A BANK TO BREAK IT? And a bank refused to do what a bank is supposed to do! The gal sente to a grocery store to have it broken!!! Horrible just horrible!!!
Just walked out of this branch after receiving some horrible customer service. They said they couldn’t order me a debit card and said I had to use the website. I also tried to order foreign currency, the teller said they only had one foreign currency teller and she would go get her. After waiting for a couple of minutes the teller came back and told me the foreign currency teller was too busy and I should use the app, which I don’t have. I asked if there would be a better time to come back and the teller said they were short staffed for a couple of Weeks and maybe try back then!! Great Job Wells Fargo!
Went to the ONLY POSTED OPEN branch at 11AM to find it, yeah, you can guess it, CLOSED!! Locked up tighter than ever, and the only thing loose was the ATM! What is the point in posting that a branch is open when it’s not? Wonderful customer service, ABSOLUTELY NOT.
