Ashlie has been the best help for over 6 years! She always finds time to help me and I always feel like a priority when I speak with her. She is very clear and informative. I highly recommend this branch!
Blue sells your information to merchants.
They will actively reach out to you trying to extend your loan and get you into more loans. Weekly. I’ve pretty much had to block them to get some peace. I will not be returning here if I can help it.
Had to close my account I had back when they were Warren Federal the other day because they don’t have a checking that doesn’t have a dormancy fee. I went in person to a branch on a Monday and was promised they would refund me and find answers for me about an account that doesn’t charge a dormancy fee. They never got back to me and threatened to charge me off for $6 after it was negative for a week. They went downhill so fast. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. TOO BIG FOR THEIR BRITCHES.
I’ve not had great experiences banking with Blue. I recommend banking elsewhere. They’ve never been helpful in the 10 years I’ve been with them (not necessarily the employees, but the banks policies are the worst I’ve encountered banking). I have close to 800 credit score and still needed co-signing for a small loan (2-5k). And when trying to consolidate a small amount of credit debt ~10k they’ve denied me. This has all been paid off now because I have great credit history and was trying to avoid the credit card interest rates. Honestly I’ve just never been helped by this bank and I’m glad to have moved to a better area with more options. Even trying to close out my account has been like pulling teeth. I have a net zero on all accounts but they “can’t use what they require you to put in their savings” to use on other accounts. $5 folks. It’s just annoying, good luck if you choose to go with them.
We just moved here after 8 years in Scotland. We needed a local account to buy a car. The people at Blue were so kind, patient and helpful. It took 2 hours to get UK information translated into their software. Then we had to call my bank to transfer funds.then we were issued debit cards. They did all this with good humor and kept us supplied with water and coffee. Couldn’t be happier.
