Always prompt courteous service with friendly greetings in the lobby as well as drive through even over the phone. I have recommended to many people and everyone is pleased with their membership.
It is a human characteristic that we only review when we have a negative experience, so I take the 4 negative reviews as such a positive feedback because you can please most of the people most of the time, but you cannot please all of the people all of the time. Remember there are people that cannot be pleased anytime.
I would rate as 6 stars if I could.
I have been a “member” since we moved to cheyenne over 15 yrs ago. They were great, easy to work with and had a very customer service minded staff. This is no longer the case. Driver thru is SO long, even if you have your deposit ready and the only one there. I’m not sure what service I’m getting being a member, but I can say that it ain’t much.
I have been with western vista for 30 years until now. My account was hacked on a weekend. I went into the bank and they told me that all I could do is call their fraud department I sat on hold fir over 45 minutes on their fraud line and she took my info and gave me a claim number. They called me a week later and told me that they could not help me. That I was in a gambling site and used my debit card. I have never been on a gambling website or used on debit card on line or have given out my pin. I have never lost or left my debit card. It was pretty much that I was lying and to bad to sad. I have filed a police report but no help through western vista at all and we’re very rude. I have had loans through them savings and checking and credit card but all of that will be closed and my business will go elsewhere. After being a customer for 30 years and this is what they tell me. I am very disappointed in western vista and will not use them or recommend them to anybody ever again. This money was for my roof to be fixed from the hail and now I will need to get a loan but it will definitely not be through them.
I worked with Jeff Taylor in regards to a mortgage. I’m new to the mortgage process and while I know it can be challenging, he made it unbearably difficult. I could never get ahold of him via email and had to have my realtor tell him to get the lead out of his pants and tell her and myself what I’m approved for. I essentially had to lead myself through the whole process. He was full of excuses and berated me when it came to us urging him to quit dragging his feet with the process. Needless to say I’m going with a different lender.
Also, Western Vista’s auto loan rates aren’t the best when compared to other locally owned, Wyoming headquartered banks. I will thank Mr. Taylor for asking if I’d consider refinancing my truck, which opened up other doors with different banks who have treated me MUCH better.
I give them two stars because the lobby staff is fairly good.
Wvista has made a complete 180 since a year ago. The customer service is great these days, and everything is far more convenient for members then before. In fact, if you were to run into any kind of problem, the CEO might just call you to take care of it even when hes not in the office. Also, Dominic is possibly the best representative there, I hope he runs the place some day.
