Adorable historic soda fountain shop. We stopped by at the recommendation from Chugwater chili company. I hope this place can get its name out there because it is a hidden gem!!!
We stopped for malts and enjoyed the friendly staff and history of the shoppe.
If you find yourself on I25 near Chugwater, do yourself and your tastebuds a favor and get in here!!
I have wanted to visit this spot after seeing it on Atlas Obscura and it’s worth the trip. Tasty food, delicious homemade pie and a delightful environment. If you get a chance, stop here, you won’t regret it!
One word…..Wow! They have done a great job with this place. We have been here in the past doing some video on one of the ranches in the area. We decided to come back to plan our next excursion and grabbed some food at the Soda Fountain. I had one of the best burgers I’ve ever had along with awesome fries and a cup of the famous Chugwater Chili. What a great little town with a lot of history and cool people with some interesting stories. Until next time, Cheers!
Solid Wyoming Stop! I’ve been driving past here for many, MANY years… I never found the time or need to stop… I WAS WRONG. This is one of the best burgers I’ve had in Wyoming, and the Chili lives up to the hype. Do yourself a favor, and check this spot out.
Went on a road trip to the Rocky states in mid March. Someone from a museum in Cheyenne told me this would be a good spot to visit. They weren’t lying, food tasted awesome and the people who worked there were very friendly. It also had an awesome oldish atmosphere and a museum of products from the 1900s.
If you’re on a road trip and happen to cross by Chugwater, give this place a visit!
