5 Reviews on “Bank of America (with Drive thru ATM)”
* added note:
I do not care to discuss this with anyone in Bank of America’s so called upper management. If you read any of the other reviews, they all have the same automated response! Go figure! Reach out on social media. I fought for 6 months to get someone to talk to me on the phone or directly deal with my concerns. I only receive automated responses in the mail which had not one note replying to any of my concerns. Every time I would appeal their decision, I would get the exact same automated response which was “you’ve opened up your app and looked at your account, and you get bank statements. That is not fraud protection by monitoring everything myself. It was the typical way fraud happens, they start out small and slow and then suddenly start hitting you with larger and larger amount. We have lots of activity through our checking account through debit, bill pay and other purchases. I finally caught it when they did two of the exact $125 debits back to back. I knew I hadn’t spent $125 twice and just thought someone made a mistake only to learn through the PayPal name search it had been going on for a while but very slow and small. Bank of America blamed me but never causing all of the repeated large transaction in the last two weeks prior to me finding the fraud. Bank of America repeatedly sent the same two automated responses with zero details. It was outsourced to India. They literally have to hit two buttons and hit send and it was over for us. We had no other avenues. We couldn’t even go and talk to a bank manager. They told us they could no longer help anyone with these issues. Try dealing with people who sit behind a computer and hit buttons repeatedly who will never speak to you in the phone.
My recent Bank of America Experience was HORRIBLE!
Visited this Denton bank by the mall about 3 weeks ago. I have never been kicked out of a bank for asking questions, but the manager was offended when I asked what happened to the days when bank managers could actually help you with problems. He told me I wouldn’t listen to him, and he was tired of me talking down to him. An associate (J) waiting to speak to the manager, told me I was wasting his time. J said he was going to take the manager from me because he has a customer waiting for him.
I was shocked he took what I said personal because it had nothing to do with him personally.
I tried to clarify I wasn’t implying him, but it was a corporate. As a manger he should be professional. Then J chimed in again and said I was taking it personal. Of course I’m taking it personal it was around $1400 – $1700 total.
I lost money due to the fraud department blaming me for not looking at my statement or checking my account online online.
I am absolutely appalled at the unprofessional attitude of the so called manager, J – just an employee, and the so called security cop.
The manager and J both walked away, and I was escorted out by mall cop security guard. What a joke???
I asked (security?)for his name, but he refused and said he didn’t have to give it to me. Really?
Security? repeatedly said he was going to call the police which he never did. I told him to go ahead and call! What was my crime? I wanted to get real answers not just the same run around as I have on the phone with fraud who is outsourced hitting buttons of rejection over and over. Don’t count on anyone at any Bank of America to be there for you.
They have gone crazy ! 25 years with them and all of our money will be gone asap. They just lost 8 accounts. Some of the accounts are significant, but they have no concern!!!!
A weird thing happened last week shortly after this visit. My son received a check for a little over $1400.00. I’m not sure why he received this check, but it is very close to the fraud claim I had over a year ago. I fought with the fraud department for over 6 months
Bank of America is absolutely ridiculous! My sister wrote me a reimbursement check which she is a member of Bank of America and since my bank is far away I decided to go cash the check at the Denton location. After waiting in line, I get up to the counter and was told that since I’m not a member that it will cost me $8 to cash the check. Many years ago I had a bad experience at this Bank and this was another bad experience which reminds me of why I would never be a member. Poor business practices for sure!
I would give (negative 1) review, if I could. They have the worst customer service of all BOA locations I have ever visited. I have been trying to open a new account for my mom and have been there three times already. Every time I walk into …
This bank is always overly busy, severely understaffed, and has a VERY high turn over of employees. I went in to deposit some euros. Any teller I have ever approached at Flower Mound & Lewisville branches have quickly done this so I didn’t think it would be such a fiasco. I was instructed to stand in a 40 minute line!!! and a teller could help me. Upon reaching tellers, none knew how to deposit foreign currency….including one that was training someone! Yikes! Only one man in the office could perform the task, so i was directed to lobby to wait on him another 15 minutes. Nice guy- but one man can’t run an entire bank. Something seems amiss in the hiring theory at this location. What is up with all the untrained people and high turn over at this branch BOA?
What is the point of having a separate business clients lines if they are going to serve everyone in the regular line first?
There were like 5 people waiting in regular line and only me in business line.
The teller kept on holding me and kept on calling from standard line.
Very frustrating.
Is that how you treat your customers?
