I needed some money and brought some things to this pawn shop.
I had a big chunk of gold and he told me if it was real it was worth at least 500$
Besides that gold chunk I had I had silver also.
So he told me it was real and but did not tell me how heavy it was and the purity of it.
The gold was from a family member so it was not cheap.
He lied and told me that the gold was only worth 400$ and didn’t even give me an explanation.
The weight of the gold was at least 100gams.
I am all about helping the little guy but will NEVER buy or sell there again.
And if you want good deals other pawn shops will give you a better deal.
And yes I know the exact place I’m talking about.
You have a bald head and drive a FX4 f150.
My wife and I talked about it and she told me that that chunk of gold was worth way more than you offered. But we were in need of some money so I decided to take the low ball offer.
I’m sure you remember my mother just dies and left me a few items. One of which was a chunk of gold we tried to bend in half with Pair pliers.
Matt was awesome!! He took the time to carefully evaluate some jewelry I had brought in and was incredibly informative and helpful even though I didn’t end up selling any of the items I had brought. Would definitely recommend!
The staff is respectful and a fantastic location to sell your things.
When I had to pond something and that Something was very important to me.I was treated respectfully and kindly Unfortunately I had a hard time in my personal life But the store went above and beyond the call of duty to help me I haven’t forgot that I pray.I never will
Why would you have instruments out for people to pickup and try out if that’s against store policy? And then why wouldn’t there be a sign stating “don’t touch our instruments we don’t like that” if it was really that big an issue you would be willing to go up to a potential customer and make a deal about it? For the customers looking to buy instruments from here, I would go to guitar center or any other pawn shop, this place even without the experience I had was overpriced for what you’re looking at, and then I guarantee any other place you try would let you play the instruments expensive or not (which again for the worker making that big a deal about it just put the expensive instruments behind a counter like every common sense shop)
