Avoid this bank at all cost if you like having access to your own money when you need it. Im a realtor and my client is a member of this bank. Upon asking for a cashier’s check for the transaction, I was accused of having intentions to commit fraud and denied the service because I was answering for my client. They insisted on running a background check on my very reputable title company and delayed closing for 24-48 hours, if not ruined my relationship with my client. Very unprofessional. Even convinced my client to not leave with me and offered them a ride home.
I came to ask a question about joining bank accounts with my husband and adding him, but the young lady helping me made an assumption that he was Mexican. My husband is not Mexican but American, so I was taken aback by her ways of explaining things to me, for I’m not from Mexico. She was nice over all but needs to not make assumptions of what race my husband is or I.
I have been banking here over 8 years with a business account. Never had any issues. I have never over drafted but I hear the charges are a little pricey for over draft. The bank is pretty busy on Fridays so I do my banking any other day. Speaking of any other day… the only bank I know of open till 6 on Saturdays and even open Sundays. I have a Compass Bank account as well but prefer to do most of my business here because of the hours and issues with Compass.
I have never had an issue with them. My husband and I have had them for about a year and a half now. Their overdraft amounts are more than I’ve ever seen in a bank. If you get stuck in a rut they help you with an overdraft loan to pay it off, that doesnt mess with your credit but will report to credit bureaus to help your credit. If you have a good relationship with them they will help you. Paid off our overdraft loan and not 24 hours later gave us a loan so we could hire movers. They did not ask 1 question about where the money was going and were not paying ridiculous monthly payments. We havent on either loan. I have encountered one or two people where they needed improvement on customer service but generally most of them will do what they can to help you. We live in Florida and refuse to close our account because theyve helped us when we needed it most. We love this bank. Weve never had money come up missing which was our issue with other banks. Paychecks come In a day early as well. Please do not let bad customer service reviews turn you away from this bank they’re not all like that. Great bank.
Unwilling to work with you, bad customer service. The one in Weatherford took me in owing over 200$ and has helped me pay off most of my balance. This bank wouldnt even give me MY acct number and MY rt number.
Took forever to get the information out of them. Seriously dont let granbury put a bad taste in your mouth not all of the franchise have awful service and refuse to work with their customers.
