One star for not having leniency. I might add I used to work for a pawn shop, so I def know a few things. I placed a layaway for a fairly large amount, I was 4 days late paying it, they put it back out for sale. Normally they call, they didn’t. I went in to pay it, was informed they “dropped” it. I apologized, I normally am not late, and spend quite a bit at all Cash America’s, I was hoping there was something that could be done, reactivate the layaway, give a partial refund to go towards the item, etc. Assistant Manager let me know there was nothing to do, I politely asked if actual manager could do something. Manager didn’t want to deal with me, told assistant manager to tell me the same thing. “There’s nothing to do”. I lost a pretty fair amount. I think I’m mostly disappointed at the lack of customer service. I was 4 days late. I’m used to the phone call they normally give, which apparently they stopped doing, without notice, and started a “text service” I’ve never heard of. I ended up putting the item back into layaway. I know certain layaway sales must be met by the associates that work there, and pawns as well. I do feel in my case, this is what happened. The Assistant Manager needed this layaway. Again I’m very disappointed, and will try to avoid this pawn shop. Lack of customer service, and treating each customer as just “another person” isn’t a business I’d like to support.
I personally love this place,the people are awesome, and willing to help you anyway they can I highly recommend this place for just about anything you can think of I promise you will find it cheaper here the staff makes you feel like family,love these guys and gals !!!!
Came into the store looking for a particular item. I showed the staff a picture of what I was looking for. And the advised me that they normally don’t have that in stock but other locations may have it. Unfortunately, the other locations which may have it are currently closed on a Sunday. Lala had an interest in taking my name and number down and description of what I was looking for should it become available in stock or get a transferred in it could be sold to me. It’s nice to know that Cash America has caring employees like lala who are willing to go the extra mile whether they make the sale today or tomorrow but make a satisfied customer happy. Lala is the epitome of customer service going above and beyond for the client.

I went to go purchase an item the manager was very rude to me and my husband. and the item i wanted didnt have a price and he was doing alot extra. For us not to get the item. I would never go back there. He needs to be fired doesnt know how to treat customers. He needs training in customer service.
