Absolutely horrible customer service. I went there today was going to open up a new account. The lady who was helping me walked off in the middle of me filling out my paperwork. Another guy told me I had to wait for him to get done. Then another man asked if I needed help I told him the woman was helping me but she left, he then told me I should come back and set up an appointment. So I left and went to bank next door.
Discrimination and hate at it’s worst. It makes me sad to see an institution like Amegey behave like this. Please join me in sending a message and using another bank. Plenty great options exist in the area.
Employees at this specific location are very rude. Never experienced anything like this from a bank, or had any problems with other Amegy banks.
Terrific neighborhood bank. Smart, nice staff. Pretty office and fees are great. Stephanie is wonderful – called to let me know when I made a mistake with my account that I hadn’t seen myself. Very thoughtful folks.
Yes, I have seen the ‘too casual’ behavior by the IT guy and whoever he talks to, and I was put off by it. BUT! The taller, slightly older gentleman…I’m sure he was the bank manager…was professional and effective when helping a very frustrated client get a certified check. I myself just went in to set up a new savings account. I was immediately greeted by TWO employees, asked how I could be helped, was asked to wait a moment to see the banker, the banker heard my request and proactively let me know how long the wait would be. That was so helpful, as I had errands to run. When I returned, Carlos immediately helped me set up my savings account. He is knowledgeable and efficient. I’m satisfied with the service I received today. 👍
