Don’t go here for a mortage loan. Took way longer than it should have to get to our closing date and we had to reach out continuously to see what we needed to get done. Some documents we had to resend multiple times. There is no reason it should have taken that long considering we had everything we needed to get a loan. We probably could have got a much better interest rate, but that’s our fault for not shopping around more. Not impressed with bank.
First State Bank of Burnet was great to work with. They took over a loan that another mortgage company couldn’t do and we were able to close in two weeks.
I’m pretty sure this bank is running a sort of Ponzi scheme, or at the very least robbing Peter to pay Paul kind of deal. I deposit my check every week. Every Sunday the ATM says my account is empty, and the ladies inside say “yep everything adds up…you spent all of your money”. However, between Tuesday and Thursday half of my paycheck shows up in my account (depending on how much they take out to cover other people’s expenses and let me keep). I’m going to ask the FDIC and BBB to investigate.
I’m not too pleased with the fact that the phone service at this bank has been out for over a week. Not everyone is able to check their account online? Unbelievable, this large bank can’t get a land line fixed any faster than this?
Really wish this bank would stop closing out my account pending deposit 😡 it’s incredibly inferiating to check your account, and account has been closed without notification from the bank. I have an active checking account, and this is the second time I’ve had to call. …
