Avoid IBC. Terrible service from Mrs Alma Galindo (so called VP) who didn’t comply with regulation and made it hard to access funds.
First time in the USA and all my money gets taken by the ATM… Luckily I had some pesos to sell otherwise I’d be on the street tonight. I’ll try fix this tomorrow, if I’m successful I’ll change my rating.
I came to exchange Euros to dollars the where paying $1.05 per euro I had 310 euros 310 x 1.05 =325.5 yet the manager wanted to give me 295 and said I had to divide not multiply.
What a joke.
IBC Weslaco had so many people in it that I could have stayed there until closing time . There was only one teller, with one counting money on the machine. There was one handling the widow. There were three handling customers at the desks. This has happened multiply times at this bank. The tellers , not enough of them , spend more time counting money than servicing the customers. I have yet met the bank branch manager, is there one? Went to IBC Weslaco, it was packed on Saturday so, I decided to go to IBC on Broadway and found it closed to my surprise. I looked in the window and saw the published hours. It was at 10 am it was supposed to be open until 1. This bank needs to get its act together in operations, customer service and operations. An evaluation needs to be done some where? Maybe by IBC depositors? If this bank ever became foreign owned or if it was easier to transfer my banking to another bank I would do it TODAY.
I’ve had an account with IBC for 22 years. I go through the drive thru to withdraw some money from my checking account. I gave them my account card,my driver’s license and they tell me that the signature on current account does not match the one from 22 years ago. I’ve never had any issues before in 22 years with my so called signature. I withdrew my money from IBC and will open an account with a different bank. IBC is pathetic. Don’t waste your time with these people.
