I’ve purchased four guitars from McKinney Jewelry & Loan. Their selection of guitars is spectacular. I’ve been given fair prices on all and walked away very pleased. I continue to do business with this store and their friendly staff. I would (and do) recommend this shop to anybody looking for great deals on guitars, musical equipment, guns, tools, or jewelry… or most anything else you might be in the market for. They just might have it. I Will be back again.
Degraded knowledge about DSLRs, Only Nikon and Canon are accepted yet LUMIX which is an extremely popular brand, isn’t accepted to sell here. Stay away from them. Lady is very defensive over the phone on what she accepts. No recommendation, too late one star.
Beautiful selection, excellent customer service, super nice people
I have been dealing with this business for many years, and have never had a problem. I pawn and buy items and always get good deals. Monica and Jeb are the best.
An average to small pawn shop in size. They have a decent selection of tools and electronics and firearms, but not a lot of floor space. Their customer service is average, but the store is organized and neat.
One interesting thing is that I did offer some merchandise for a loan one time, but they did not have the money in the store. They said they had a rush on people trying to get cash but not purchasing anything. I am sure it was a one-time thing, but it is surprising that they ran that low on cash flow, especially that being their business.
However if you are interested in musical equipment especially guitars, this is probably the best pawn shop in the area. They have a large selection of really nice looking acoustic and electric guitars, some of them are very new. They have brand name musical equipment as well as lesser-known brands.
Also they have a decent number of laptop computers, many of them brand names and very good deals, if you are computer savvy.
I would give them 4 to 5 stars if it was just a review based on their music equipment and always having money to loan, but otherwise an average pawn shop.
