5 Reviews on “ValueBank Texas Orange Grove”
I just put a house in OG about 6 months ago, wanted to open a checking account at the local bank. Had my wife call to get it set up as I am currently working on a project that is 96 miles from my home in OG. They would not accommodate my work schedule as I am working 14 hour days, 7 days a week right now. I am unable to go in person. My wife offered to FaceTime me while at the bank in person so I could prove it is me with my drivers license. They are unwilling to work with us. I was raised in OG and my family lives there too for many years. .. seems that friendly, help each other out attitude is not present in OG anymore. The internet is full of banks that are willing to open an account and all online and our local bank wont even accept my wife coming in and face call me. .. guess we need to do all of our business somewhere else.
Left the big corporate banks long ago, local banking is much more personal. I can call to the branch and take care of anything I need to. Also pleased that mobile deposit is now available as well as depositing at the ATM. Fraud protection is great, I’ve been called several times to confirm transactions before they were processed. I’m happy and glad I made the switch.
The employees at my bank are incredibly nice and attentive! They treat you like a human being and not just another account number. Sure they’re the only bank in town, but they do not take that for granted and strive to get the best experience for their members. Regardless of the amount of money you have in your account, you’re number one to them!
Value Bank in Orange Grove has given me excellent service over the years.
From the tellers to the president have helped me along the way from setting up accounts to volunteering for school functions, to helping raise money. They are a home town bank, not because they live here, because they care.
You have to have good credit to overdraft. Doesn’t have a telephone number to call and check balance, spouse had to go in and give info to add to checking account and was written account number on a piece of paper and I guess you have to ask for a debit card. Try being like other banks (services ) valuebank.
